I usually buy sheets of 1/2” 4x8 whitewood plywood that I cut into 20” squares for signs.
It’s been $55 forever but just jumped up to $75 in a little over a week. That’s like a 35% jump.
Any idea what happened? That’s crazy
Good plywood on top from Boulter Plywood north of Boston (a 3 hour round trip for me). Horrible plywood from Lowe’s (a 15 min round trip for me). Both are 3/4” “Maple” plywood, but I swear the Lowe’s wood has a finish on it. It is shiny and very smooth. The inner ply’s are garbage. I normally don’t mind exposed plywood edges on my personal projects but I can’t do that with the Lowe’s wood.
Does anybody know what my cheapest options would be in the SF Bay Area? I have a project that I’m working on and funds are somewhat limited. Any advice would be appreciated thank you.
