I went in to see if they had any new merch and was pleasantly surprised to see them selling a 100% cotton t shirt with the new logo as previously it looked like they were only selling a polyester blend. If plain colors look at craft stores. They often have them on sale for $3-6 or have 40-50% off coupons and usually have decent color variety. For designs I've had decent luck with teepublic when they have sales (they have one every 2 weeks or so). You can get basic tees for $16. Not super cheap but they have designs for literally anything. I've also gotten an artist account so sometimes I'll design something I want, then buy it. so I get the shirt for $16-20 but then get $2-4 back as my payment. I don't tend to put the shirts in the dryer, so I can't speak to longevity if you do, but I've had some for 2-3 years where the designs are just starting to flake recently. More on reddit.com

That really doesn't work for higher priced items. Like shoes or more expensive denim. Because you're not taking into account how the item ages. Also if you have a big enough shoe rotation Its gonna take a while for my "balance" to go down to 0 in any shoes Edit: didn't mean to discredit your system it's awesome in theory but like most things in life it's not as simple as it seems.
