Best 4k 65” TV for around $400?
Stop me from just buying one of these budget-level 65” 4K TVs - what better experience can I get for only ~$100 more?
Anyone know a good smart TV for under $250?
What’s the best 65” TV on the market currently?
Alright so i rarely ever post on reddit, but upon some basic google research i saw this sub say how basically any non QLED/OLED TV is a waste of money and trash, like the LG UT70 or Samsung du69900 to be specific.
Now i know pretty much nothing about TV’s, and only use it to watch shows or movies with my girl. Maybe i’ll get a ps5 down the road to use on it but i have a custom pc i use from time to time.
Right now i’m rocking a 1080p 50” Vizio tv i got off facebook for $50 like 5 years ago lmao, and i’ve been wanting to get a 4k tv for a while now.
So my question is, for a normal casual scrub like myself that doesn’t want to spend $1k+ on a QOZCY69000LED Super mega Ultra HD transformer GTX RTX Raytracing TV, are the ones i mentioned fine? I’ll most likely go with that but maybe there’s a better option out there i don’t know about for the same price.
Ideally, i’d like to spend under $400 if possible, and 60-65” size. I hear the TCL Q6 is decent but i thought that brand was dog water so im honestly lost.
Thanks for the help.
We currently have a 4K 55” TCL Roku TV that I think we got for about $400 almost 5 years ago. The top row of backlights has gone so considering getting a new one, though it’s still totally watchable. Figured we’d bump up the size by about 10” and the other things we don’t like about our current one is it only has like 2 HDMI inputs (once one has been taken up by our sound bar’s ARC) and also its Roku OS is starting to really slow down now, so something with a decent processor that could run Android TV comfortably for a few more years would be great. It’d also be nice to get something with better backlight technology but I’ve lost track of all the competing technologies out there (OLED, microdot, per pixel illumination?!) and if it’s like $1000s more for that then willing to stick with this basic LED type.
If there’s a better brand or technology that we could try for maybe $100 more, I’d be willing to give it a try, so let me know what’s out there in the “almost budget but not bottom-of-the-barrel” space.
