I only worry about Jade in the event that Simone returns to competition. Otherwise I would be surprised if she didn’t make it. Her plans to compete NCAA do make me slightly nervous she will not have the energy to push back to her peak difficulty as the Olympics near, but aside from Simone, it’s hard to imagine someone surpassing what she can add cumulatively on vault and floor. Even with Simone, there’s a chance she could still add more than a strong Beamer, if Konnor is not bringing the high scores or if shilese has upgraded her beam substantially.

I think it’s just personal preference. I know Vanessa Zamarripa represented UCLA and used all UCLA coaches when she competed at US Champs in 2010. Jade seems to have formed a bond/works well with Tanya as her coach so she probably thought it was fitting to represent her school with Tanya as one of her coaches. Perhaps Jordan just feels more comfortable with Cecile and Laurent and representing WCC.

This is very common on the mens side. More so than the womens. I would estimate about half the senior men represent and wear their schools leo at US Champs.
