It actually sucks that Jessica Walter is dead

Perhaps I'm being mushy, wistful or developing a posthumous, parasocial relationship of some sorts, I I've watched Archer since 2017(?) or so Netflix and binged it during college and I fell in love with the show, the cast (especially Aisha Tyler who I found out about as a kid on Comedy Central), but I genuinely developed a fondness of Malory/Jessica Walter. I've always loved her delivery and acerbic, witty, and dry humor (I also knew of Arrested Development and had I known of Walter sooner, I definitely would've watched that back then). "Crippled, gay, hillbilly spies? There's a niche."
So of course it gutted me hearing the news of Jessica Walter's passing. Granted, I'm very happy that Season 13 gave her a beautiful send off, but her final episode left a void of emptiness and "what-if's". How'd she interact with the cast (and notably AJ) during this last hoorah of a season, what is Malory doing in theory other than on an island with Ron, etc.
I know it's cringe and dramatic to harp about this, but I really have a big appreciation for this show and its talented cast members.
Imagine loosing your husband end of 2019. And then being her age, and finding yourself in the COVID pandemic, filming your lines on an iPad in your walk in closet at 79/80 years old. Then having the courage to film one final zoom call with your cast mates on youtube.
Archer was one of her final projects at the worst and final moments of her life - and we need to acknowledge that.
Bless her soul. She had a fucking amazing career, and it got better with Arrested Development in 2003 for all of us millennial's to love her until her passing. What an icon. We love you Jessica. You left a mark on this era we would all hope to dream of. Everyone will remember you. You did it! Love you, Queen!
I hope I can go as iconic as she did!
