For all the mess that the Witcher shows have turned out to be I can't help but love Joey Batey. An impressive amount of time he turns middling to poor writing into something at least watchable by sheer force of will alone. Guy has huge charisma and clearly wants to make something entertaining for viewers. I don't know if he loves the source material, or he's just a dedicated actor, or if it's a mix of both. Whatever it is, I hope he gets to go on to have a good career after this. He's a trooper.
