Hello, I’m trying my best to calculate my paycheck for when I work overtime. Ive heard and seen a lot of people misjudge the overtime benefit and calling it a waste of time or whatnot. I see a lot of talk about tax brackets but that would be by year right ? So if I just wanted to know how much I will actually get if I do “X” amount of overtime, what site or formula can I use to calculate it ? Ive tried using paycheckcity.com and it seems to calculate my current payout pretty spot on, maybe like 1 or 4 dollars off but if I did overtime… things would be different ?
Knowing how much exactly I get will help me financially wise in order to make the right decision.
Thank you

I have a new job and I want to calculate my take-home since I'm on a tight budget. I take no deductions on my paystub and file as single zero. Reason why I'm asking is I tried a few other paycheck calculators that Google suggested before ADP and they had me living below paycheck-to-paycheck.
From my brief time as a bookkeeper, I know ADP tends to be a gold standard and just want to confirm this, please because I'm super anxious.
