Actually yes, they just call themselves map generators instead of AI anything. Man limited resources is the WORST reason to poke into a methodology in it's infancy. Google maps! Search reddit for maps! There's a whole subreddit for maps. https://donjon.bin.sh/fantasy/town/ r/fantasymaps NPC, name, dungeon, and city generators have been around for 20 years! March 22, 2023Anyone been successful at generating maps with one of the AI art apps (Midjourney, BlueWillow, etc.)
I don’t think those are really the best tools for doing that. I’d recommend using Azgaar’s Fantasy Map Generator . You can’t get isometric maps but it produces great results and is VERY customizable. More on reddit.com

I've been using bing ai image generator to make battle maps for random encounters in my Curse of Strahd campaign. Mostly forest, dirt road, snowy mountains, and village street stuff, and that goes pretty well. It struggles when you want to be inside of a building, crypt, etc. For example, if you tell it to add a single door to the northern wall of a room, it'll put it on the floor. That kind of thing. You could probably go room by room and build a dungeon if you wanted to put the work in but it'd be tedious IMO. EDIT: Here's some examples - https://imgur.com/a/cHaSAkJ More on reddit.com

Hello there DnD subreddit. I know that some here have strong oppinions about using AI generated art and content in their games but I am a starting DM with limited resources and AI genersted content would be a real asset for me.
Are there any good AI programs that are good for generating Maps, Art and content?
