So I initially didn't think devs should be worried at all after using chatgpt for and asking for code snippets and whatnot. It almost always had some small errors or incorrect lines, but sometimes it completely messes up and just spews out garbage code.
I just tried this new AI code gen app for the first time and I was expecting more or less the same as chatgpt, but it actually blew me away. It generators WAYYYY better code that actually runs without issue at all, it explains everything correctly and does a really good job at complex logic. I asked it to generate a gpt4 app and it did so immediately without errors.
The one I've tried is codewhizz.dev, but github.com/features/copilot and replit.com are apparently super good too.
But trust me if you're a dev, you need to start using ai in your stack. I genuinely use it every day at work and it helps me code quite a bit faster. But if you work as a dev, I highly recommend using something like this cause I can guarantee that in a few years the programmers that don't use ai to their advantage will all be replaced.
