September 21, 2024 - I did not purchase them but I just tried them out an hour ago and I’d say they are not bad. Pro 2 will always “sound” better because of the silicone seal but if the fit works for you and you don’t like the silicone tips I’d definitely go for the ANC AirPods 4.

Hi everyone,
I’m conflicted on where to get the Airpods 4 with ANC to get the most bang for my buck.
Given that they were released not too long ago, I assume there won’t be any discounts from i.e. Best Buy during Black Friday. Should I just get them now?
Apple - easiest to get from the source, legit and free engraving Costco - good and longer return policy Best Buy - possible trade in in the future?

February 11, 2025 - None of them were comfortable for me. after a while its like my ear was exploding or the tips were popping out making the earbud push on the back of my ear. tried one of the airpod style ones from Anker and immediately it was different.

I bought the Pro 3 during a recent Amazon sale but I just saw Costco has them (full price) with apparently 2 years of AppleCare included.
I’m relatively new to the Apple ecosystem and didn’t realize the warranty coverage differed like this… does anyone know what I get with just a “regular” purchase somewhere like Amazon versus what Costco offers?
Would it be a good idea to return mine and get the Costco ones solely due to the extended warranty?

There’s a warranty period on them as long as they’re new and from an approved vendor (Amazon is one as well as Costco). If they’re selling them at full price but with free AppleCare, I’d do that.

Yes and the return policy is amazing. They don’t consider earbuds electronics so they don’t have a special 90 day policy like laptops and TVs and stuff. I think they fall under the general return policy. Which is the best in the world.
