We have four regular iPads in the house, 7th and 9th gens, and all of the users are either a child, or an older person. So, they all just have a hard plastic, 2-piece case with a kick stand, as they are mostly used for media. I have a Pro, but I prefer the same type of case, something protective, with a kick stand. I personally prefer the Unicorn Beetle made by Supcase, but there isn’t one for the new Pro yet. I don’t use a keyboard of any kind, not a Pencil, and I honestly wish there were more case options (for the Air and Pro, at least) that didn’t have a pencil holder slot built in, I would prefer that area just be filled. For a 7th gen, you have an absolute ton of options, so basically just go on Amazon, find the type of case you want, and then pick the one you like the look of most. Just as the subject states, just picked up a used 7th Gen iPad for a steal ($70 for a 64GB model). Trying to add some protection and starting to look at cases's on Amazon.
What cases do you all use and recommend? I'm open to any configuration at the moment (No Keyboard, Keyboard-only, etc.)

I use mine without case and protector, the feel of it works well, but I have a ipad Pro which may be less slippy than yours. For when I leave the house, I have a high quality felt and leather cover to protect it from bumps and scrapes, got it from crazy horse craft. hope that helps 😊
