I just want to make sure that all of the eligible purchases I make are in-fact being registered and counting for rewards points.
I already have an AA Advantage account. The credit card is brand new. Am I supposed to connect them somehow? Seems that the logical answer yes but it is baffling as to how non informative the AA website is.

In order to merge the accounts into one, the email addresses on both accounts must be the same. If that is the case you can go to aa.com/merge log into the account you want to keep and then add the number you want to merge. If the email addresses are different you need to contact AAdvantage customer service.
