Target's Return Policy doesn't mention Apple directly, but under the Are there any return exceptions? heading it does note that; All electronics and entertainment items must be returned within 30 days for a refund or exchange. For these items purchased between 11/1 – 12/25, the 30-day refund period will start on 12/26. Also noted is; Some items have a modified return policy noted on the receipt, Target policy board (refund exceptions) Does your item have a modified return policy noted? Hm. While abuse is not good, I’m gonna play devil’s advocate here. Perhaps a liberal return policy leads to more overall sales, because people are more comfortable making risky purchases? Also Apple still profits nicely on refurbs and clearly has no difficulty selling them. And the return costs are built into the hardware margins, and they remain quite healthy.
