I have a Cub Cadet Lt1550 that I’m in need of a deck for, locally there’s a 50” deck off of a Lt1050 for sale. I’m not familiar with the different models and can’t find much online, since they’re both 50” decks is the 1050 deck compatible with the 1550 mower?

I have an older Craftsman DGS 6500 riding lawn mower with 750+ hours on it. Yesterday, while mowing I noticed odd lines in my grass and checked underneath to see the bracket on the right side completely detached from the mower deck. The deck is now only supported on the left side, and creates an uneven cut while mowing. I tied up the right side to finish mowing with a ratchet strap but I know this is a temporary fix.

As the deck needs replacing, what is the best way to go about this? Replace with an exact replica (somewhat hard to find) or are other riding lawn mower decks interchangeable? My wife and I understand we will likely need a new mower sooner than later, but would certainly appreciate drawing this mower out as long as possible. There are several riding mower decks in my vicinity that appear they may work, but I’m not sure.

I have a 1999 Cub Cadet Z54 zero turn mower. As you can see from the picture, my mower deck looks like Swiss cheese. I have been searching Craigslist and Facebook marketplace trying to find a new/used one, but have had no luck.

Anyone have any ideas for where I can look to find one? Or perhaps a mower deck from another model that might work?
