Hello,
I'm considering buying:

Which according to it's user guide:

USB Type-C port:
Used to connect to a valid source such as PC or mobile phone for monitor to work when there’s enough power
Used to do battery charging when the monitor is in OFF mode
Up to 9V@2A 18W power supply
To activate touch functionality, you need to connect the display with the USB Type-C cable to your computer.
System setup menu:
Input Device : Select “Mobile” if connect to mobile phone ( Power supply function is not provided under “Mobile” due to common mobile devices cannot provide enough power output ). Select “PC” if connect to PC and then select “Power Supply from PC” with charging function. This function allows you to sustain the working time for longer. In PC sub-function, you can disable power supply function by selecting “ No Need Power* from PC” * No Need Power here means getting power under 100mA, and this does not affect the battery life/usage of host devices connected.
Specs:
Power Consumption ≦ 9 W
Voltage Rating 5 - 9V , 2.0A QC3.0 charging spec is supported
Adapter ASUS/AD2068M20 100-240V~50/60Hz 0.5A 5V ,2A(Normal model) OR 9V , 2A(Quick charge model)
FAQ:
Q:The signal source is shown in power supply mode. A: The monitor will get a small amount of electricity from the signal source. This is normal.

With that being said, here are the main questions:
1.) Can you keep the monitor connected to your laptop through usb c to usb c cable and laptop connected to it's ac adapter and expect the monitor to continue to operate on ac power while being able to use the touch screen feature still? Because online, there are some mixed reviews where some people said you can't use the touch while it's on ac power (i.e. "getting power supply from pc" mode menu option which is turned off by default?) - Some say even that the monitor could go black screen on you after few hours - I asked the Asus support rep, he said that basically my laptop usb c has to at least power the monitor with 5V 2A (10w) so the monitor could sustain itself and won't need to use it's power - So how can I tell based on my usb c specification above will it be able to power it at that level so it doesn't need to use it's own battery?
2.) Related to question 1, will it continue to charge the monitor battery when it's connected to your laptop with the "getting power supply from pc" mode? If so, this might be harmful to the battery as it will put cycle charge strain on it while it's being at 100%? Or when it's using "getting power supply from pc" mode, that means it no longer uses the battery? Because for example an iPhone has an "optimized charging" option to prevent exactly this issue or LG/Dell laptops provide a BIOS feature to keep the battery pinned at 80%, not sure if ASUS did something similar with this monitor? If the battery does become messed up, is there a place where you could get a battery replacement online? I think the battery warranty is only for the first year while the entire monitor warranty is for 3 years.
3.) Can you use the monitor on it's battery while it's getting it's display input wirelessly such as using an adapter like: Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter - USB/HDMI Display Adapter

Or some other casting software that it could do? The idea is basically use it like a portable monitor that you could go around and use it in a close proximity with the primary laptop, is it possible? Some reviews mention it's possible with casting, but say it's not reliable, so not sure if you tried either through software or using some wireless display adapter or other gadgets to enhance the product?
Thank you.
