Asus prime z790 a wifi cannot find any networks

I got stuck at Windows setup wanting to connect to Wifi… Found a command to bypass this - Shift F10 for command prompt, then typed OOBE\BYPASSNRO this rebooted PC and allowed me to select something about skipping internet connection at the same stage. Then it booted into windows, some Asus Armoury Crate thing self installed and somehow found my wired internet connection and all worked from there. What a nightmare! More on reddit.com

DO NOT BUY PRIME Z790-P WIFI MOTHERBOARD

the bottom USB 3.0 header is a single time use Care has to be taken with most USB3 headers, happens on other brand boards too. The sata ports must have been hot glued on, a slight tug with very little force on the wire broke the header off. Again care has to be taken, they do not like being abused like any other brand. inexplicably 1/2 of an inch shorter than standard ATX boards meaning the right side standoffs don't make contact and there are no holes for them. Plugging in the 24 pin near shattered this board. You mean 1/2 inch narrower, again other manufacturers do this. We sometimes use plastic inserts for boards like this to stop flex, when inserting the 24 pin you have to keep pressure near the 24 pin connector on insertion/removal to not damage or bend the motherboard. extremely disappointing coming from a reputable brand like ASUS They have been garbage for a long time, they are not the legendary 90's brand they once were. We build rigs with ASUS boards all day every day (actual reseller), i may not like any of their products but the issues listed sound like user error/experience issues as we do not have the issues you list.
