yes there are FM transmitters that you plug into the 12V socket and they transmit, well, a radio station that you can tune into and play your own music on. just google "car fm transmitter" or something and there's tons available. the quality won't be top notch but they work on anything that picks up FM signal. I have an '86 El Camino, and obviously I don't have bluetooth or an aux, so I was wondering if I could get some sort of converter that I could just plug into the cigarette lighter. Thank you!

Do you have a cassette deck? They used to make an aux adapter tape, sound quality is way better than the FM transmitter, but both would work. Alternatively, have you considered a cheap aftermarket head unit?
