Ok so I'm looking for a headshot generator, but I need it to be realistic since it's going to my LinkedIn. Which, in your experience, is the best at this? Also preferably cheap, because if it is $50 bucks for a couple of headshots then at that point I'll just hire a profesional photographer

Recently, I was in the market for a new headshot. You know, something sharp for LinkedIn, pitch decks, and my other “serious” profiles. Instead of booking a traditional photo shoot, I decided to roll the dice and try three AI headshot generators: Headshot.kiwi, Aragon AI, and AI SuitUp.

Each had its pros and quirks, so here's my honest take after running my face through all three 👇

🔹 Top 1 - Headshot.kiwi – Speedy & Sharp The Good Stuff: BetterPic actually impressed me out of the gate. The headshots looked real, like me but on a good hair day. They nailed the lighting and facial symmetry in a way that felt authentic, not uncanny.

They also give you style options (think: corporate, casual, lifestyle), which made it flexible for different platforms. Bonus: I had my pics back in under an hour—much faster than I expected.

Room for Improvement: They don’t offer a try-before-you-buy option, which felt like a gamble. Also, while the photos were clean, the backgrounds could use some flair. I had to do a bit of editing afterward to elevate the final result.

🔹 Top 2 - Aragon AI – Most Like Me What Worked: Hands down, Aragon gave me the most accurate representation of myself. If you want headshots that look like they could’ve come from a DSLR shoot at a studio, this one’s for you.

They offer tons of background and wardrobe options, and the user interface is smooth enough for even the least tech-savvy folks. Plus, I got my photos in 30 minutes flat. They also offer team branding features for companies, which is a nice touch.

Could Be Better: Some shots had minor blur around the eyes and mouth, not a dealbreaker, but noticeable if you zoom in. Still, they were highly usable.

🔹 Top 3 - AI SuitUp – Clean, Corporate, Focused What I Liked: If you want a polished, boardroom-ready headshot, AI SuitUp delivers. The backgrounds are tasteful, color grading is solid, and the overall look screams “I mean business.”

They also let you test-drive the platform with a free LinkedIn background changer, which is a cool way to sample the style before upgrading.

What It Lacks: This one is strictly business. No creative flourishes, no casual vibes. So if you’re hoping to use the photos for something like a dating app or personal branding with a twist, this might not be the best fit.

Hey thanks for reading this post! We’ve updated photographe.ai so you can get pictures for free: get a preview using our standard quality model before deciding to use the high quality model 😇

Hey everyone,

With the AI photo craze going full speed in 2025, I decided to run a proper test. I tried 7 of the most talked-about AI headshot tools to see which ones deliver results worth putting on LinkedIn, your CV, or social profiles. Disclosure, I'm working on Photographe.ai and this review was part of my work to understand the competition.

With Photographe.ai I'm looking to make this more affordable and go beyond professional headshots with ability to try haircuts, outfits, and replace an image with yourself in it instead. I'd be super happy to have your feedback, we have free models you can use for testing.

In a nutshell:

  • Photographe.ai (Disclosure, I built it) – $19 for 1,000 photos. Fast, great resemblance about 80% of the time. Best value by far.

  • PhotoAI.com – $49 for 1,000 photos. Good quality but forces weird smiles too often. 60% resemblance.

  • Betterpic.io / HeadshotPro.com – $29-35 for 20-40 photos. Studio-like but looks like a stranger. Resemblance? 20% at best.

  • Aragon.ai – $35 for 40 photos. Same problem - same smiles, same generic looks.

  • Canva & ChatGPT-4o – Fun for playing around, useless for realistic headshots of yourself.

Final Thoughts:

If you want headshots that really look like you, Photographe.ai and PhotoAI are the way to go. AI rarely nails it on the first try, you need freedom to generate more until it clicks - and that’s what those platforms give you. Also both uses the latest tech (Flux mainly).

If you’re after polished studio shots but that may not look like yourself, Betterpic and HeadshotPro will do.

And forget Canva or ChatGPT-4o for this - wrong tools for the job.

I need a clean, professional headshot for LinkedIn and company “About” page. I’m after natural skin texture (not airbrushed), accurate facial features, consistent lighting/backgrounds, and a few usable poses in one batch. Ideally: under $30, fast turnaround, clear data deletion, and options for suit/jacket without looking cosplay.

If you’ve tested a few, which gave you the highest keeper rate? How many source photos did you upload (angles/outfits), and any tips to avoid uncanny results (lighting, no filters, neutral expressions)? Platform pros/cons welcome!

Edit: I ended up using QuickAIHeadshots and the results were surprisingly realistic. The skin tone looked natural, lighting was consistent across styles, and it actually felt like me, just better dressed and better lit. The turnaround was quick, and I got several photos I could easily use for both LinkedIn and company materials.

Hey folks --
I have a team of people that need decent looking website headshots that should all look reasonably similar in style and environment. For context, it's a team of a few doctors and nurses. I want them to be able to upload their selfies in their scrubs and have the output look like they were all taken in the same session rather than the somewhat random backgrounds I've seen produced by tools I'm familiar with. It's fine if the background is super out of focus so I don't need details to be the exact same. Just similar hues, lighting etc. Do you have any recommendations? Thanks!

I’m refreshing my LinkedIn photo and want something that looks natural (no plastic skin, no weird eyes) without hiring a photographer this week. What tools have given you the most usable results lately?

Wish list: realistic skin tones, consistent studio lighting, high-res downloads, minimal retouch option, quick turnaround, and clear privacy/deletion policy. Budget under $30 would be ideal, but I’m open to “worth it” options if the hit rate is great.

If you’ve tried a few, which stood out and why? How many photos did you upload, how long did it take, and any tips (angles, outfits, backgrounds) that improved your results?

Edit: After testing a few options, I decided to go with QuickAIHeadshots. It gave me the most natural results, realistic skin tone, good lighting balance, and no weird facial distortions. The upload and generation process was quick, and I liked that it clearly outlined its data deletion policy. I got several usable shots that didn’t need extra editing, which made it well worth the price.

Heads up: No AI is perfect; not every image will be gold. But chances are good you’ll find some that really work for you. ... But i can definitely suggest BoothAI360.com, for realistic AI headshots.

Hey everyone, I’ve been on the hunt for a solid AI headshot tool—something that gives clean, professional results without looking overly fake or cartoonish. After trying a few, the one that really stood out to me was QuickAiHeadshots.com. The results looked sharp, natural, and totally LinkedIn-worthy no weird filters, no uncanny valley vibes. What I loved most is how easy it was: just uploaded a few casual photos and got a whole set of polished headshots back in less than 30 minutes. No retouching, no second-guessing. If anyone else has used it, I’d love to hear how it worked out for you. And if you’ve found something better (though I doubt it!), drop your suggestions too.

Now I know this sub is mostly photographers but...

I’ve been experimenting with AI apps to create professional headshots—mostly for my clients to use in between their yearly appointments with me.

I gave HeadshotPro, BetterPic, and Aragon, InstaHeadshots, AI SuitUp, and PeronaPixel a shot.

Based on my testing of all these AI headshot generators, here's who performed the best:

1: HeadshotPro

Why I liked it the most

HeadshotPro delivered the most realistic AI headshots.

To be clear, they're not perfect–about half my order returned photos I wouldn't use.

But getting a few usable headshots for $29 to hold a client over until their next apointment still feels pretty good. They do have a money back guarantee which is nice.

What Could Be Improved

Like I said, not every photo was perfect. You have to separate the keepers from the duds.

Being the most professional option, HeadshotPro doesn't offer any casual photos. Wish they did.

2: InstaHeadshots

What I Liked

This service will give you completed headshots back in 5 minutes–incredible.

It was more or less easy to use, though not the easiest.

What Could Be Improved

A few of my headshots ended gave off “uncanny valley” vibes. I think InstaHeadshots might skip some QA steps to speed up the turnaround time.

Quite a bit more expensive than other options.

3: AI SuitUp

What I Liked

It's the cheapest of all the AI headshot generators that I tried.

Has a bit of a "mom and pop" website feel (maybe they just don't know how to design 😂).

What Could Be Improved

Of the tools I tried, the photo quality was definitely a step down on this one.

Probably wouldn't recommend AI SuitUp over the other 2 options.

Final Thoughts

Overall, I'd sum it up like this:

  • HeadshotPro is best for professional business headshots

  • InstaHeadshots is best for fast results, worse quality

  • AI SuitUp is not one I'd recommend, honestly

  • Aragon had a large diversity of casual outfits but less professional

  • PersonaPixel is a B-tier service compared to the others

I don't see these replacing photographers anytime soon. If anything, I think they could make headshots more popular again 🤷‍♂️

Best Free AI Headshot Generator - Reddit
I don't believe you'll find any free AI headshot generators, as there are usually costs associated with the GPU usage. If you want to create an AI headshot for free, you'll need to train your own face dataset on your local computer. To my knowledge, this is the best option if you can't afford paid services.

Hey everyone 👋

I’ve been exploring different AI headshot generators to find which ones actually create realistic, high-quality professional portraits perfect for LinkedIn, business profiles, and resumes.

After testing several popular tools, I found that Quick AI Headshots stands out for its accuracy, realism, and easy workflow. You simply upload your photo, choose your preferred style, and it generates studio-quality headshots in minutes.

Here’s what makes Quick AI Headshots one of the best AI headshot generators:
✅ Realistic results that actually look like you
✅ Multiple professional styles for corporate or creative looks
✅ Fast generation with no complicated setup
✅ Great for LinkedIn, portfolios, or team branding

I also compared it with tools like Dreamwave AI, Headshot Kiwi, and the trending ChatGPT headshot generator prompts people talk about on Reddit but Quick AI Headshots delivered the most consistent and natural output.

If you’re looking to upgrade your professional image using AI, I definitely recommend checking out QuickAIHeadshots.com.

r/ArtificialInteligence on Reddit: Tried 3 AI Headshot Generators – Here’s What Worked for Me
April 3, 2024 -

Hey everyone! 👋

I’ve been exploring different AI tools recently, particularly for generating professional headshots, as I needed one for my LinkedIn profile and other business-related platforms. I thought I’d share my experience with three AI headshot generators: BetterPic, Aragon AI, and AI SuitUp.

Here’s a breakdown of how they performed for me:

1. BetterPic

What I Liked:

BetterPic surprised me with how realistic the generated images looked. The facial features and lighting were spot on, giving the final image a professional touch.

You can tweak the look by selecting various styles (corporate, casual, etc.), which made it versatile depending on where you plan to use the photo.

I got my images back in an hour, which is faster than most tools I’ve tried.

What Could Be Improved:

While the output is decent, I wish there was a flexible trial version or free credits to test more features before committing to a full purchase.

Some of the background options were a bit plain, and I had to manually edit them afterward for a more polished look.

2. Aragon AI

What I Liked:

Not only did Aragon give the most realistic results, they also looked the most like me. It also has a huge variety of backgrounds and clothing options, which really helps if you’re looking for different styles for different platforms.

It’s easy to navigate, and the step-by-step process makes it perfect for beginners who aren’t tech-savvy.

I got my results in about 30 minutes, which was faster than I expected. They also offer a product for teams with features like branded headshots, which is helpful if you want headshots for your company or team.

What Could Be Improved:

A few of the images had a slight softness around the eyes and smile area, but nothing that affected the overall quality or usability.

3. AI SuitUp

What I Liked:

If you're after truly polished, corporate-ready headshots, AI SuitUp delivers pretty realistic results. The crisp, well-designed backgrounds and refined color schemes maintain a formal look that still stands out.

It also offers a helpful free tool to just change your background for LinkedIn profile pictures, so you can explore the platform before committing to the AI images.

What Could Be Improved:

While the focus on professionalism is a definite strength, AI SuitUp might not be ideal if you’re looking for a more whimsical or artistic style. They just offer professional style headshots and lack "creative" options. If you need something for personal projects or purely creative profile pictures, other AI portrait generators may suit you better.

Bonus: Headshot Pro

What I Liked:

It's clear HeadshotPro is the most professionally oriented AI headshot generator. While other products I tested dabble in dating photos, this one is strictly business.

If you're on the market for AI headshots for more than just 1 person, you may find HeadshotPro's team management features appealing. According to their website, they can support large corporate teams.

What Could Be Improved:

HeadshotPro produces realistic professional headshots... but that's all it does! There are no options for casual photos, which personally was a bit of a let down. After all, there's more to life than just work.

Final Thoughts

Out of the main three, BetterPic gave me professional-looking results with little hassle. For those who need more variety or have creative needs, AI SuitUp might be more your style. Aragon AI gave me the most natural-looking results and looked the most like me, with a broad selection of backgrounds and outfits.

Have any of you tried these tools? Or are there other AI headshot generators I should know about?

r/aipicturegenerator on Reddit: Best AI Headshot Generator in 2025 — I Tested 4 Tools, Here’s the Real Winner
1 month ago -

I kept seeing AI headshot tools all over the place, so instead of guessing which one works, I actually tested four different platforms. I needed something clean for LinkedIn, a portfolio update, and a couple of pitch decks — so quality mattered.

Here’s my honest breakdown after uploading the same set of selfies into each tool 👇

1. QuickAI Headshots — Best Overall (Quality + Speed + Realism)

This one ended up being the most balanced and the most usable in real life. The headshots looked surprisingly natural — not overly smoothed or “AI-looking.” It genuinely felt like a studio session.

What I liked

  • Realistic lighting and skin tone

  • Sharp details, no weird blur around the eyes

  • Delivered in about 30 minutes

  • Plenty of variations that I could actually use

  • Clean, professional backgrounds

What could be improved

  • You need several good selfies to get the best results

Overall, it's the one I’d recommend to anyone needing fast, professional-looking photos.

2. Aragon AI — Most Studio-Like

Aragon is solid. Some photos looked like a photographer took them with a DSLR.

Pros

  • High realism

  • Nice wardrobe/background options

Cons

  • A few images had minor distortions if you zoom in

  • Pricier

Still strong overall.

3. HeadshotPro — Great for Teams

This one shines if you’re doing headshots for an entire company or remote team.

Pros: consistent style across all photos
Cons: not the most realistic close-up shots

4. AI SuitUp — Best for Corporate Looks Only

If you want the “executive boardroom” vibe, this is your tool.

Pros: clean, high-end corporate style
Cons: not ideal for casual or personal branding

Final Verdict

If you're looking for the best AI headshot generator in 2025, QuickAI gave me the most reliable, clean, and truly professional results. It was also the fastest.

I’d recommend it especially for LinkedIn, CVs, websites, or anything where you need to look sharp without booking a real photoshoot.

I really just want something that makes me look a bit more professional, especially for my LinkedIn profile.
