This one from OpenArt words pretty well. Pretty easy to make images, videos (B-roll video like you need) and it's relatively cheap. Answer from stolencredit1998 on reddit.com

Best AI image generator? : r/aipromptprogramming
February 27, 2025 - Been using this to make seriously good ai content. ... Grok does a great job for some of my blog posts. I found that Gemini is very fast at image generation and is good for food and recipes. ... If you haven’t tried this platform yet, you’re missing out. It’s hands down the best for AI chats right now.

I like the new ChatGPT generator but it takes too long to generate images for my purpose. I need something faster but also has the same quality. Google Gemini's Imagen seems to produce only low resolution images... I'm very uneducated in this area and really need advice. Can someone recommend me an engine? For context, I have to generate a lot of images for the B-roll of Instagram reels and TIktoks I record.

2 years back I used midjourney and it worked really well. I haven’t been using image generation for a while so wonder what are the good options out there. I’m helping our team to promote our products so want to leverage AI for creating marketing images. Would appreciate recommendations - if the AI is specialised for marketing images that would be even better.

What do people recommend? I have used Midjourney and debating on asking my company if they'd be willing to pay a monthly subscription so I can more easily populate courses with imagery. Are there better options?

Really depends on the type of image you are looking for. For icons, I am liking Envato's. For other generic stock-images, Google Gemini's Nano Banana is top notch atm imo.

Midjourney is my favorite AI image tool, and the one I usually start with. For photorealistic images that look more realistic and interesting than stock images (or ChatGPT), Midjourney is a solid choice. Midjourney is capable of a wide range of illustration styles, and it's easy to create multiple images that have consistent styles and colors. The editing options are good too. Midjourney is terrible at text though. While I've had lots of success with Midjourney for creating multiple images of a single character, there's no good way to create scenes with multiple characters that stay consistent. For that, I create the images in Midjourney first and then go elsewhere for assembling the scenes. I've had good luck with Runway for assembling scenes with multiple references images. ChatGPT can sometimes work; Gemini (Nano Banana) might work too. Flux is a great tool too. It's as good at Midjourney for photorealistic images and better at text. I don't think it's as good at illustrations as Midjourney though, and I can't get the consistency in characters and style with Flux. Recraft is good for vector images, and you can set specific colors to match your branding. Ideogram is good for text accuracy. They have a new consistent character tool that I haven't tried but looks promising. Personally, I'm only paying for Midjourney as a consistent subscription. It's the most versatile. That's the one that mostly replaces stock images and cutout character libraries that I used to pay for. But, I switch to those other tools sometimes if I need something specific. You might want to look at a tool that gives you access to multiple tools like Galaxy AI or Wavespeed. If your company will only pay for one, you might want to see if one of the collective tools would be better to give you some flexibility.

I want to use an AI image generator to create images for my articles, but know which one is a good option.

I mostly want to great simple images that will be used as as the featured image.

I don't have any money to invest so I just want to use free versions for now.

Before I used Bing regularly in February with Copilot, but recently I have found that it has become much slower and it no longer generates as many images as I wanted (always a problem that it cannot generate anything)

So if you have apps (good ones eh) it would just be so nice (with good quality, similar to bing actually..)

I've been looking for an Al generator that can create similar images.

I've tried multiple Al generators but haven't found any that are better than MidJourne.

My card kept getting declined, so I wasn't able to subscribe, and I missed the 30% off.

Please recommend alternative Al generators that can create similar style.

Prompt: watercolor Dusty Blue floral simple bouquet, digital art, peonies, baby breath flowers, green leaves, neutral, white background

I mostly used leonardo ai for image creation and have been very satisfied with the images. But lately, I don't et what I want out of leonardo. It doesn't even create half orcs for me. No matter if I use phoenix, flux or albedo as the model. So I'm going to suspend my membership with leonardo. But what do i use instead?

So what is your favorite moddl/ai to use? Heard theimage generation of chat gpt got real good. Does anyone have suggestions? Thanks and best regards!

r/smallbusiness on Reddit: I’ve Tested All the Image Generation Tools for My Small Business
January 14, 2025 -

Personally I hate paying for subscriptions unless it was absolutely necessary. Given that I don't have the budget to hire a graphic designer I started playing with all the new Generative AI tools and these are the ones I've narrowed it down to that have made the most impact. I posted this breakdown on r/AIforBusinessFounders but will share it here as well. Hope this compilation helps a fellow entrepreneur.

If you’ve been exploring AI tools for generating images, you’ve probably come across big names like DALL·E, Adobe Photoshop, and MidJourney (finally moved off the dreadful Discord prompting thankfully!)

While they each have their strengths, they also have their quirks. Here’s the breakdown:

  • DALL·E by OpenAI

    • Pros: It’s integrated directly into ChatGPT, so if you’re already on a paid plan, you’re good to go—no extra fees. It's also embedded in Canva which is convenient if you’re designing social media posts or quick mockups.

    • Cons: The image quality isn’t amazing. It often looks a bit flat or off, but I think where I struggle is you only get one output per generation, so there’s not much variety.

  • Adobe Photoshop

    • Pros: If you’re already using Photoshop, this is a nice addition. It lets you partially generate images within your edits, which can be handy for things like background replacements. When it comes to generating full images though, I find this tool really struggles.

    • Cons: The image quality still has room for improvement—hands and fingers, in particular, are a consistent issue. Plus, you need an Adobe Creative Cloud subscription to access it.

  • MidJourney

    • Pros: Hands down, this tool produces the best-quality images. You get multiple outputs per prompt, and what really sets it apart is the ability to refine your favorite image. You can subtly tweak or drastically change it, depending on your needs. It previously only operated on Discord but it now has migrated to it's own platform so that's been a huge pro for me.

    • Cons: It’s not cheap—MidJourney requires its own paid membership and comes with limited tokens, so you’ll need to budget your usage. The biggest con for me in the past was that you had to prompt in a Discord channel but now that it has own platform, it's no longer an issue.

After putting all three to the test, my personal favorite is MidJourney. If image quality and creative control are your priorities, it’s hard to beat. That said, DALL·E and Adobe are solid options if you’re already using their platforms and want to save money. Are there any hidden gems I might have missed? If so let me know, I'd love to give them a try.

I have an Linux server with an RTX 3090 with 24 GB of VRAM. I'm looking for a good software to generate AI images that I can install (without GUI/X) and access remotely from Windows. Any recommendations?

PS: Sorry for asking such a generic and perhaps even silly question, but I'm a bit overwhelmed with all the information.

Took a break from AI art for the last year or so. I had previously been using stable diffusions web ui setup however due to my poor understanding of java and the pain in running the command prompts I sorta got outta doing it when I started to get a ton of errors in the command prompt when booting. I wanted to know if anyone can recommend a free one that runs off of my computer since I dont like the limitations of credits. Though if the old stable diffusions web ui has had a more user friendly wrapper. Or at least one where it is easier to add features in a way that doesnt break the program.
