Your options are a bit limited at $50. You can still get a mechanical keyboard. You'll probably want to stick with brown/red equivalent switches. Redragon seems a little iffy in defect rate but people seem fine with them if they don't malfunction. I'm building my very first PC soon and I want a good keyboard that's I can play any game on. I don't need the best of the best like the Wooting 60he or something. Just something that I can become a really good player on if I put the time in.

It's really easy to find mouse recommendations when you have channels like (boardzy) on youtube. But for keyboards, it doesn't seem to be as easy. I'm always seeing different recommendations so I never know what is actually the best bang for my buck.

I perfer to spend around $50. I can go higher if it's really worth it.

I have never owned a computer or really even a laptop so I have 0 experience using keyboards. So I don't have any specific needs. I just want a good keyboard that will get the job done. Once I actually learn how to play games on keyboard & mouse, I will then upgrade to a high end gaming keyboard.
