My kids have destroyed two of my kitchen drawers. The faces are fine, but the slides and drawer boxes need to be replaced. My current drawer boxes are made of cheap metal sides and a flimsy bottom.
My question is are there kits sold for rebuilding the drawer boxes that I could reattach the drawer face and add some new slides to?
So far, it looks like I’ll have to custom make the boxes.
The board of my drawer looks like it was partially dislodged from the weight of food cans. I can push it back in from the bottom of the drawer because it's a separate board
Last night a can of tomato sauce exploded all over me, and in the shock, I ripped off the front of my kitchen drawer. I'm somewhat handy, but was wondering if it looked like it was worth the effort to go to Home Depot and fabricate a new drawer piece? I was even debating add a piece and flipping the whole cabinet around to use the existing back as the new front. Do they sell premade drawers for a reasonable price? Thankfully the drawer face is still in good shape.
