The 6 Best Gaming Keyboards of 2026 - RTINGS.com
November 18, 2025 - For most people, we recommend the NuPhy Field75HE as the best gaming keyboard. Its standout feature is its Hall effect switches, which allow you to adjust the actuation distance (sensitivity) of any key.

Any good Hall Effect keyboards for comp gaming? (~200€ budget)
There’s a bunch of options out there, but most of their software is honestly terrible. Wooting’s still kinda the gold standard, but if you’re tryna skip it, keychron’s decent. Lemokey’s basically the same company with a few tweaks, though their ks37 switches and overall HE setup feel a bit meh. Epomaker’s got one that’s not bad either- shine through pbt caps and some nice A-rgb if you’re into that. Just keep in mind you’ll need to mess around with the software for actuation points or stuff like rapid trigger/dks. More on reddit.com

Akko TAC75HE. Got it at 20$ from Aliexpress while in Korea (cheap delivery). You can probably get it for 30$. More on reddit.com
Hall effect keyboards?
From my own somewhat limited experience i like both mechanical and HE switches but for different reasons. I like the HE switches for the per key adjustable actuation points, im somewhat of an expert when it comes to accidentally pushing the keys next to WASD and triggering skills when i dont want to. With HE i could set actuation to not trigger before they were pretty much fully pressed and this pretty much eliminated this problem for me. But with my personal taste i have so far not tested any HE switch that comes close to the typing feel of my mechanical switches. And since i do not really play any competitive games at all i do not use my HE keyboards as much. So since i do more typing than gaming i use the mechanical switches but if i were to be mainly gaming i for sure would use the HE switches because i simply love the per key actuation settings. So in your case i would most likely go for a HE keyboard. Im also expecting 2 new HE keyboards to arrive soon so who knows that might change my typing experience opinions on HE switches as well. So i hope my nothingburger of a reply gives you some insight at least. :) More on reddit.com

This guide’s picks are aimed at people who primarily type or code, but our picks here are also excellent options for gaming. We also have a full guide to gaming keyboards, which includes picks with Hall Effect switches.

Hey guys,
I’m on the hunt for a Hall Effect keyboard mainly for competitive gaming. I know Wooting is the go-to pick and everyone swears by it, but I’m kinda looking for something that also has a bit more aesthetic appeal and solid build quality.
Budget’s around 200€.
Any recommendations or hidden gems you’d suggest?
Appreciate the help 🙌

Wooting is not the go-to pick and hasn’t been since years. It’s probably the worst option you can get today, extremely overpriced, 200+ for an awful keyboard with poor build quality, a shitty low quality plastic case, terrible switches, one of the worst performance if not the worst in the entire HE industry… What’s your preferred layout so I can recommend you something?

I don’t mind buying from lesser-known brands or AliExpress if they’re reliable.
What’s the best bang-for-buck option out there right now?

most of the options mentioned using this thread are using older pcb OEMs, i would recommend the irok mg68plus and mg75max. which use sparklink/xingshan, the same solution found in higher end options like melgeek and nuphy air if you can afford $90, the melgeek real67 is going to be more reliable with more consistent support and development, and is also gasket mounted for better acoustics and feel (feel is marginal tho because its a stiff assembly)

Well, I don't recommend monsgeek, bad software, so so so many issues even with the PCB, check their Discord or subreddit, I wish I knew this beforehand, I was interested because they introduced TMR to a keyboard, that's it There were so many HE keyboards out there even with better software, my tips, just get into their Discord or subreddit before buying
