I’m looking for wireless headphones that work well with android (considered AirPods but some features are missing on android)
Main usage: music, phone calls and working out (not swimming but heavy workouts)
ANC is not a requirement, more of a “would be cool” feature but not a deal breaker.
Budget: at most 200$
Thanks!
EDIT: Preferably not with silicone tips that go into the ear. Something like the original AirPods (non pro) structure-wise

Hello,
I've been reading some of the posts in this subreddit already, but I was wondering if you guys could help me narrow down my search for the best wireless headphones for music listening on android devices.
I've narrowed down my options to the Sennheiser Momentum 4, Sony Xm5, Airpod Max, and Bose qc ultra.
My main concerns are comfort and sound quality. I mainly listen to edm or hip hop.
I know the maxs have limited functionality on android, but I did enjoy their comfortability and feel.
~500 budget. Please add any input you may have or any other recommendations. I do plan on going to a guitar center to try them before i make my decision.
Thank you and sorry for the long post.
Hey everyone,
I'm looking for recommendations on the best wireless earbuds for Android that fit my needs. Here’s what I’m after:
-
Budget: Up to $500
-
Use Cases: I’ll be using them for a mix of entertainment (music, videos), work (calls and meetings), commuting, and gym workouts.
-
Sound Quality & Mic: Superior sound is a must. I used to like the AirPods Pro for their sound, but they don’t work as smoothly with Android devices, especially when it comes to mic quality and features. So I’m hoping to find something that delivers great sound and call quality on Android.
Anyone have suggestions for earbuds that are a perfect fit for Android and check all these boxes? I’m open to any brand as long as it’s a great fit for my use. Thanks!
Hey everyone!
I'm looking for some good, durable Bluetooth headphones for Android that have a long-lasting battery and maintain good performance over time.
I mainly use them for work, on the bus, and for walks, so comfort would also be a big plus.
Any recommendations for brands/models worth considering?
Thanks in advance!
Edit: I posted this in the Portugal subreddit, but it got deleted — apparently, according to the mod team, I can only post there if it's related to Portugal.
I travel a fair bit for work. I'm eligible for some perks, which includes (potentially) acquiring some headphones to make my journeys a little more pleasant.
Budget: ideally under $400 Audio preferences: podcasts, pop punk, rock, grime, hip hop.
I currently own the sony WF-1000xm5 earbuds. Predominantly using for workouts and the odd call here and then. These would be more for comfort for travel on planes etc.
What should I be looking for?
Hello everyone,
The title says it all.
I initially thought of Airpods Pro but I don't know if they will be worth the price as I am using Android.
However I might still consider them depending on your impressions.
So I currently have the JBL Tune750btnc over the ear headphones. They’re great, but I am looking for good earbuds.
I have an iPhone and a Mac, my phones gonna die soon and I’m planning to switch to a pixel. (Which is why I don’t wanna get AirPods)
I need something in which I can sleep peacefully because over the ear headphones are not that something
Good ANC would be a plus point.
I am looking for good Bluetooth earbuds as my Raycon case just will not hold a charge (and it hasn't even been 6 months). I thought Raycon was supposed to be a quality brand, but I have lately heard people say that they are not any good.
I don't want an Apple product as I have an Android phone.
The problem is that all the reviews on Amazon look pretty fake to me (some of them have 99% 5* reviews and the text looks like AI-generated slop), and there are about a billion brands of earbuds out there that drastically vary in price.
I am searching for something that costs less than $65.
The features that matter most to me are comfort and being waterproof. I use them primarily for audiobooks.
I have been continously reading multiple reviews and breaking my head over what option is the best all around earbuds for an android user (specifically Samsung s24). Most important for me are the following;
-
Multidevice support (PC and phone).
-
All around decent average for sound/voice/ANC . I dont care much for a 10-20% difference in sound/voice/ANC, as long as I am dealing with high ends earbuds.
-
Easy earbud controls ideally with touch, and auto detect removal with music pause is a must.
-
Water resistance, with water proof being a big plus as I am worried to drop it in puddles.
-
Battery life, the more the better obviously. The only thing blocking me from purchasing the galaxy buds 2 pro without hesitation.
-
Price, keeping in mind I dont mind getting second hand, I am ideally looking to spend closer to max 200$ USED or 300$ NEW.
Based on this I narrowed down my reasearch to a few options (feel free to suggest new ones);
-
Bose quiet comfort eabuds
-
Sony XM4 (the XM5 dosent seem worth it)
-
Samsung Buds 2 Pro
-
Google Pixel Buds Pro
Any suggestions ?
I had the original Pixel Buds buy they died on me. I am currently working with my Android phone but a Mac so I am unsure whether I should get the new ones or the airpods or some other offering out there. Has any of you had this experience?
I love my over ear Sony XM4 headphones, sound quality is superb and the battery is excellent. Easily last for 18-24 hours of straight playback. If you happen to have a device with a headphone jack then you have the ability to plug in an aux cable as well. Have had mine for almost two years now without issues.
Try buds by Anker Soundcore
My wonderful Galaxy Bud + earphones finally stopped working after 3 years so I'm looking for something else to purchase.
What are you using currently?
I’ve got a Google Pixel and an iPhone, and I’m trying to avoid buying two separate sets of earbuds. I just want one pair that works seamlessly with both devices and has good audio. I'm not an audiophile but I'd still like this to be good.
Which pairs are your daily drivers? Or which ones do you guys believe is the best on the market? Even though I know phone operating system plays a role in the decision making
I recently lost my headphone jack by upgrading my phone and now i want to buy bt earbuds, but there are too many options. What are some that are recommended? (I have a z flip 5 btw) Edit: would love if it is more bassheavy😁
When it comes to the best Bluetooth earphones for Android, I personally use and recommend the Back Bay Audio FirstClass 70's. They have superb sound quality that really enhances your audio experience, be it music, podcasts or calls. Plus, they pair effortlessly with Android devices and have excellent battery life which makes them very reliable.
"Best" is relative to what you'll be primarily using them for. Something like Galaxy Buds or Pixel Buds are great for all-around use, but you may want something different for workouts or running. There are also better budget options if you just want something serviceable.
Looking for a set of higher quality headphones (aka not the ones that came with my GS3) that can pause/play music, along with volume control. I know Klipsch has the S4A's but they only have only button and makes increasing volume or anything a PITA.
Any suggestions? There are a boatload of iPhone sets but their controls won't work on Android.
Time to go wireless OP. I'm using these bluetooth headphones http://www.amazon.com/LG-Wireless-Bluetooth-Stereo-Headset/dp/B0052YFYFK
sound quality is great and the controls are right at the neck band, can play/pause back forward and volume, there is also built in noise cancelling mic for calls and vibration for incoming calls and notifications. Battery life is also better then i was expecting.
You're not going to have much luck unfortunately. I've looked into this quite in-depth my self recently, and it's pretty bad news.
Samsung used to use the proper convention of ground-furthest-from-tip in their Galaxy S 1, but changed over to Apples odd way of doing things with the SGS2 (If you were still using an SGS1, the TRRS adapter linked below would be relevant). This continues with the SGS3, meaning for-iPhone headsets will work with your device but still only partially.
Apple and Samsung use different values for their remote controls (different ohm value, I think). Meaning only the mic and play/pause/answer/hangup button will work. Volume and Prev/Next will not work. Your only options are to use Samsung Stock headphones, recable using stock headphone wire, use bluetooth as suggested (degrades sound quality, potentially significantly) or dealing with it (like I do :( ).
I just switched to Android so recommendations would be great!
Pixel Buds Pro 2. Great fit and comfortable. I just used them on a plane flight and the noise cancellation was great.
I have the galaxy buds pro 2 (my previous phone was a s24u ultra in case you're wondering why the crossover!)... If you're after some full headphones rather than buds I also use the Sony wh-ch700n... Absolutely amazing for the money 👍👍👍
