I own zero pairs of the jeans at the moment and my friend recommended I try Levi's since she loves them.
Alas, still no dice. 26" waist, 37.5" hip, very long abdomen area/high waist. 5' 3" tall, with about 26" inseam from crotch to floor. Most of the pants were too tight in the thighs, too loose in the waist, and were very difficult to move around in or sit down.
The 28" length pants were a surprisingly nice length for me, but they only had a few styles with that length in store. The sales associate recommended I might need jeans with elastic, but that they didn't carry them in stores and to check online.

We have pretty much the same measurements. Levi's in general is built for a very straight up and down figure, so their stuff in general probably won't work for you.

May 13, 2016 - Levi's actually only revamped their curvy options so they don't have a curvy line by name but they have a pretty decent lineup. I bought some late last year at Kohl's and the back gap was as slight as I've ever gotten. Check those out if you have a store nearby. I did get some jeans from Old Navy in March, who also is putting a little more effort into making clothes for full-bottomed chicks.

I need a new pair of decent jeans but I haven’t bought any in over 10 years. I gained a lot of weight in my midsection and these high rise jeans just seem to accentuate that pudge below my navel area. Should I buy mid-rise? I’m 5’2” and 125 lbs. I have VERY curvy waist, hips and thighs so the main problem is always getting the jeans above my thighs lol! I need something stretchy too I guess. Any jeans brands you can recommend for me? Thank you!

We have the same body (height, weight, and figure), and I highly recommend Madewell’s Kickout Crop in curvy petite. I wear a size 26P. For context I’ve tried Abercrombie curve love petite, American Eagle short, and Levi’s Wedgie jeans — nothing compares to Madewell’s kickout crop in curvy petite.
