I’ve cycled through like 6 of these mounts over the past couple years and the only one that’s actually stayed put + held my phone solid is the Scosche MagicMount with the flex neck (this one here). It may not be the prettiest since the flex neck feels kinda 2010 but it works!! The suction doesn’t give up in hot weather, the magnet doesn’t wobble even with a case on, and I didn’t have to constantly readjust like I did with some of the fancier MagSafe ones. Also comes in a 2-pack for some reason. Gave the second one to my dad and even he hasn’t broken it which is saying something lol I would definitely recommend the Scosche MagicMount Answer from Craft_Assassin on reddit.com

Are you trying to use a magnetic car mount with the big standard phone or do you have a magnetic attachment on your phone? The P6P is not magnetic other than the light magnetism of the wireless charging coil. For strong enough magnetism to hold the device, you'll need a magnet plate with a sticky side or a case with a magnet in it. Personally, I have the Moment case and I have a Mouse case with a magnet on the way. IMO all cases these days should have a magnet option. More on reddit.com

tbvh the trick isn’t the brand, it’s the grip design, go for mounts that clamp to the vent with a stabilizer arm, not just the plain clip ones. the magnetic ones look cleaner but half of them slide off on bumps. a few better ones like this one have that pivot arm that locks against the dash, keeps your phone from wobbling even on rough roads. id say look for something with a metal plate option too incase the available case isn’t magsafe-ready.
