Blum has VERY detailed plans for installing their slides and even have an online tool where you can input the exact dimensions of your cabinet and they will tell you all the setbacks, etc. You cannot screw up if you use their tool. There is a jig set sold at rockler. Get it. It's not too expensive, and it trivializes the placement of screws and holes. https://www.rockler.com/rockler-jigit-undermount-drilling-guide H and F are super similar. "H" slides are for drawer sides with thicknesses of 1/2" to 5/8", while "F" slides are for drawer sides up to 3/4" thick. I would get the most expensive clip, it has more adjustment options. Really comes in handy. I made the mistake of buying the back bracket on my first one. I think that's only for specific applications with face frames where the slide can't be mounted to the sides. (I think). I highly recommend downloading the Blum install guide for all of their products, find the slides. Spend the hour deciphering their confusing diagrams. Once it "clicks" it helps a lot. Okay, I want to thank everyone who commented and left comments about this. I really appreciate the advice. Sadly, the second picture shows what the issue is. It seems that the front of the drawer is just a little bit lower than the two side pieces, so I think it's stopping the slide from going all the way back. Again, thank you for the comments. Hopefully my stupidity might be helpful for someone else who is having a normal problem with the blum slides. More on reddit.com

This is my first time installing Blum under mount drawer slides and I can’t get them to close properly. The fronts are protruding 3/8 of an inch in front of the cabinet, but the back aren’t even all the way seated in the back. I have the 22” Movento slides, and my drawer is 21 3/8”. What am I doing wrong?

That little point on the slide should go into the hole on the back of the cabinet. In the second photo it looks like the point is not in the hole.

I have managed to never make a cabinet that needed Blum drawer slides. Going with the Tandem for my first rodeo but very overwhelmed. They REALLY need better marketing people to name things clearly and explain the options - 563F vs H? Do I need the back bracket or not? What does a complete order look like so I buy all the pieces? These are drawers that will be seen a lot but probably not used heavily so what's the right spec to pick? Did I do wrong by putting in 1/4" drawer bottoms? I've been watching videos on HOW to install them but haven't found one that clarifies what to buy. Are there tips and tricks you've found installing them you'd pass on to make my first time easier?
