December 19, 2022My 1-year review of the QC45
I actually have 2 pairs! I use mine every day and they have been faultless since July last year. Anc is superb, I've had the xm5 and xm4 headphones but sold them both after getting the qc45. Battery is still the same as new, excellent. But avoid the buds! Had the ultra earbuds and they were a nightmare. I will definitely be replacing the batteries on these (when the time comes) as these are definitely "keepers" for me. Regarding the earpads, mine still look brand new and the reason is because I wipe the headband and earpads with a damp microfiber cloth after every use. Sodium (salt) is the killer guys, wipe that sweat off and you'll be good for years. More on reddit.com

I have a Bose 700 and wouldn’t trade it for the narrower ear pieces of the ultra. Reviews say the mic on the 700 is best for calls and I’ve had no complaints. Can still be found for around $280 on eBay new in box. More on reddit.com

June 9, 2024What is the difference between Bose QC and Bose QC 45?
There's a couple of models, and variations, a quick overview. qc45 and qcSE are the exact same thing, SE was a rebrand - the same headphones but with a cheaper case and price. It used to be the flagship model a few years ago. Bose QC (often referred to as QC 2023) and qcSC are the current mid tier level. SC is a rebrand, same headphones with a cheaper case as well. Bose Ultra are the flagship model. The Ultra have much better specs, and cost a lot more generally so they should be easy to figure out. The differences between the 45/SE and the QC 2023/SC; qc45/se has slightly less battery life (couple of hours, not much difference). qc45/se has very slightly worse sound out of the box, even less so after you EQ them. They are marginally worse but nothing crazy, many won't even be able to notice (especially after you EQ) and some people even prefer them. Other than that they are basically identical headphones. If you don't need a hard case for travelling, you could just save the £30 and get the SC model over the Bose qc 2023, the case is the only difference. More on reddit.com

How do I pair Bose QuietComfort Headphones with my mobile device?
First, make sure your headphones are turned on with the slider switch in the middle “On” position. Next, slide and hold the switch to the Bluetooth icon until the Bluetooth LED flashes blue or when the voice prompt indicates the headphones have entered into pairing mode.
