September 21, 2016Is it possible to add an extra speaker to a Bose Sountouch Soundbar 300? To be placed in a separate room. So I can listen to music even if I am in a different room. PS: I already have the small surround speakers but the volume from them is too low. I ve tried increasing the levels using the App.
If your soundbar has Bose simple sync, you can group it with other speakers inside the Bose Home app and they’ll all play the same music I do this with my soundbar 900 and the NC700 headphones as my son has misophonia and this helps him watch the movie with us without being bothered by loud snack chewing. The VI300s are the same as the "Bose Surround Speakers". They were just relabelled when Bose updated their product branding from the "SoundTouch" range to the "Smart Speaker" range. So yes they will work. Be aware thought that VI300s would maybe 6-8 years old even if new in box. Not saying they won't work, but just so you're aware. More on reddit.com

July 11, 2023I added a pair of bose virtually invisible surround speakers 300 to my soundbar 600 and base module 500 . TBH I can barely hear from the rear speakers. The sound output is very low. Has anyone here experienced the same? Any tweaks here?
