Quick question. In my AE2 system I'm trying to make cable anchors, the recipe is easy with a Quartz cutting knife and all. But it keeps making new ones for the cable anchors, it doesn't use the old one anymore that has some durability lost. And the only thing I can do on AE2 is Ore-Dict substitutions. Am I missing something when it comes to this ?

Like the title says, are there Facades to cover up AE2 cables? I tried searching in JEI but only found XNet covers and Refined storage covers.

Make cable anchors. Put cable anchors in the up, right , down and left slot of the crafting window. Put facade block you want in the center

First you're going to need to craft a quartz cutting knife it costs two sticks, a certus and a chromatic iron (IIRC). Next you take the cutting knife and craft it with chromatic iron to make 3 cable anchors. Finally you put the block you want the cover to be made of in the middle of a 3x3 crafting bench with a cable anchor above, below and on each side (using 4 anchors). Cable anchors are really handy too, they can keep two lines of cables from touching each other, and they are much cheaper than quartz fiber.

October 8, 2015 - Two ways, get yourself two different colours of cable, which won't connect to each other (the base fluix colour connects to all colours though). If the cables are already placed you can use a colour applicator to do this, when appropiately filled. Or separate them with cable anchors.

I just found this out by chance and was so excited about it I had to share. It turns out adding cable anchors to an AE2 cable makes them climbable like a ladder.

I was today years old when I found out that AE2's cables with cable Anchors attached behave like a ladder. You can cheaply navigate vertical cables by attaching some anchors and climbing it.
