All these posts about missing parcels and important documents but I haven't seen one comment about not getting their precious Canadian Tire flyers. Is it possible that they aren't as important as management think they are?
Please excuse the heavy sarcasm. I'm just sick of an out of touch management team. If only the public could see what we put up with on a daily basis, I'm sure there would be more support for us.
Stay strong everyone!
Edit: I'm not suggesting we shouldn't be delivering flyers. My post is a commentary on management's priorities within the business. My opinion is that those priorities don't align with the general public's priorities. Investigations and audits for flyers but very little done about missing parcels. Other than checking the GPS on the delivery scans, my supervisors don't do anything.
Edit #2: my point still isn't coming across. I'm not asking for our jobs to be changed. I'm asking for a change of focus from the supervisors. Every morning when we scan the DCS we need to click a box that's basically a promise that we will deliver the flyers. Nothing like that exists for parcels. Every month they share a report with us about the success or failure with flyer delivery. If a similar report for parcels exists I've never been shown it. Every year they audit our routes for flyer delivery. I believe they are supposed to do it 3 or 4 times per year but that varies by supervisor. Nothing like this is done for parcels. Our routes are still built based on letter volume not parcels.
They say parcels are important but they aren't doing anything to show it.
