I was really interested in this keyboard but I was really disappointed when I learned it didn't have a standard audio out. I'm looking for a keyboard to hook up to a house or speaker system most of the time I was using it. I heard you can adapt the headphone out to work for a standard audio out but is this a reliable and deliver high quality sound? Or should I look into getting a different keyboard? I really like the 360 for it's price range and plethora of features.
Hello,
I want to get a digital piano, to practice piano but also as a general master keyboard controller with midi.
I've tried the Roland FP-10 and Yamaha P145, but I'd be more interested to get the Casio CDP S360, as it's more compact so I could put it on a stand under my computer's table. I don't really mind of "this brand has a better piano sound", because I can also access VST for getting several different sounds, and the basic piano sounds should be enough, but I somehow care more of the touch of the keys.
I understand the casio has probably less advanced touch technology than the two others, but since I've tried both, there is one I really enjoy and the other one I can't stand, so my only question is "is the casio CDP S360 closer to the Yamaha or to the Roland's feeling"?
(I can't test the Casio CDP as none of the music shops around me has one in demonstration)
