I am getting married this year and am going to be meeting up with my mom and sister to go dress shopping in Toronto in February. None of us live in Toronto, but it is kind of a middle point for all of us, so we will be going to Toronto via train and meeting up at union station.

I am looking for wedding dress shops we can access by walking, bus or metro that are affordable (less than 1000$ per dress but ideally less than $500 per dress). I am happy to buy used or from a consignment shop!

Also, if there are any areas of town that are maybe less accessible by bus but where there is a pretty high amount of of wedding dress shops, let me know, we could take an uber to that area and then walk or bus.

Stillwhite.com can be a great option for this budget. You have a couple options to calm the uncertainty of buying online: set up the search to your local area and ask the seller if you can come try it on. find a dress you like first. Either try on in a store and then search for it on stillwhite, or give one you like on stillwhite and try it on in a store before ordering it. I feel like there's a store in Canada that has been mentioned here for budget options before, but I can't remember the name of it. Maybe somebody here will know :) EDIT: I was thinking of 1861, which looks to be about 7 hours away. Sorry! More on reddit.com
