They are just awful. I had two separate issues (one child needed accommodations due to a wrist injury that occurred a month right before the exam. The other one needed to take it on a makeup test date due to a school championship out of town. I didn't know if either one would be accommodated, but the point is there was no way to be able to do it on the site, as I was past the deadline day for asking about any changes. So I called them. They robotically started saying things very slowly and step by step, but then uselessly ended with telling me all the registration would go through my school coordinator. I explained the school coordinator said College Board wouldn't let her do it since the date had passed. She said, "Unfortunately, accommodations are only through them, we can't do anything." Wth? You are the literal administrators and graders of the test...how can you not do anything? I think the main problem is the customer service are are all overseas born and/or raised, so they are unable to think outside the box on how to fix things; they are not at all familiar with the system in the United States. College Board tells them, "they register through their school by a certain date, we don't do it," so they parrot it. They don't get the logistics at all. More on reddit.com
