Hi Everyone,
I recently found out something about the Corsair ONE pre-built PC's with the new Nvidia 30xx Series graphics cards that is deeply concerning.
If you look into the design of the Corsair ONE you will notice that the GPU is vertically mounted so that the display outputs of the card face downwards. In order to extend the display outputs to the back of the case, Corsair uses very small cable extensions that lead to an interface that is attached to the case in order to extend the display outputs to the back.
I'm not 100% certain where the issue lies, whether it's with the spec of the cable extensions that Corsair is using, or whether the custom PCB GPU they've designed has older display outs on it, but basically the issue that Corsair has created with the ONE is that the display output ports are not the most recent spec. The 30xx series cards from Nvidia finally implemented HDMI 2.1 for instance, and I would hazard a guess that the HDMI cable extension they're using is not a certified HDMI 2.1 cable.
This becomes an issue if you wanted to connect your ONE to say, an LG CX OLED, and get 4K, 120hz, & GSYNC. In order to get these features working properly, you need to connect your 30xx series GPU to your LG CX with a 48Gbps HDMI 2.1 certified cable. In fact, in one of JayzTwoCents' modding videos of his ONE, he very briefly mentions having issues connecting the ONE to one of the Nvidia BFGD's and it not working because the cable extensions they use on the ONE are not up to spec for doing 4K & HDR.
It was that video which prompted me to e-mail Corsair support and ask them if they've updated those cable extensions. I had to ask because I was planning on picking up the new ONE a200 w/ the 5900X & 3080 and hooking it up to an LG CX 77". The Support staff I spoke to reached out to a Corsair "System Specialist" and this is the response I received:
"Hi,
The specialist has relayed to me that you can connect the a200 system to the TV you specified but will not be able to have the resolution and refresh rates available with an HDMI 2.1 connector.
I hope this helps answer your question.
If you have more questions, please let us know. Best Regards,
Eduardo C.
Thank you for choosing Corsair.

Like I said previously, I'm not 100% certain where the issue lies here. But clearly Corsair has done nothing to update the display output interface of the ONE and clearly is handicapping the abilities of the 30xx series GPUs inside. I'm so disappointed by this as I really wanted to buy one, but I guess I'll just have to wait for something else to come along :(
I hope this information helps somebody make an informed purchasing decision. More importantly, I hope Corsair sees this and does something about it!
