The provided context does not contain any information about the shortcut for selecting an entire sentence in Word 365, nor does it mention Ctrl+Click behavior at all. It only documents:
-
Ctrl+Ato select the whole document (both desktop and web). - Various keyboard-only selection shortcuts using Shift + arrow keys, Shift+Ctrl+arrow keys, etc.
Because the context does not state how to select a single sentence or describe Ctrl+Click behavior, no supported conclusion can be given about which MCQ option (AโD) is correct.

Simple click doesn't work, and my software is already set to have Ctrl + Click open hyperlinks. If there are any other suggestions?
Thanks for following up. It's only in Word. I hadn't tested it in my other Office software, but I just checked in PowerPoint, and Ctrl + Click works as it should.
I created this post initially.
I ended up talking to MS Office 2nd level. The tech solved the problem using these commands. They worked on all 3 PCs.
Go to search bar, type cmd. Once you see the command prompt, right click on it then Run as Administrator. Once the command prompt is open. Run this command:
Dism /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth
Once its done, run this command:
Dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
After this command run this;
Sfc /scannow
Now, after this, restart the computer. The issue should be rectified after the advance command
UNFORTUNATELY, the problem re-appeared yesterday on the 3 PCs. The original problem was fixed on 3/22/16. Since that time, two Windows Updates occurred. I'm thinking the last one on 3/26/16, "Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1511 for x64-based Systems (KB3140768)" recreated the Word's right-click problem.
Problem continues when Word is started in Safe Mode. Right-click does not work in a document.
Anymore suggestions?
Thank you
