I'm looking to revamp my wardrobe for summer with loose, lightweight pieces - think oversized t-shirts, linen-blend trousers, and neutral tones.
Here are some refs of what I’m going for: https://imgur.com/a/ref-q15KOjd
To start, I’d like to pick up:
A few high-quality basic t-shirts and shirts
Two pairs of loose-fitting trousers (preferably linen blend)
Some accessories like necklaces or bracelets
I’ve checked out H&M and Zara, but I’m not happy with the quality. Especially their linen blend pants, which often feel flimsy and don’t drape well.
I’d like to invest a bit more in better-quality pieces that will last longer.
What brands do you recommend?
Hey everyone, I'm new to this sub. To start out, I'm 6' tall, 270 lbs, and I wear a 2xl shirt and 40x32 pants (really I'd like a 31 length but I can never find them anywhere). I also run very hot, so I literally never wear long pants (unless required for work) or long sleeve shirts (which sucks because I like the style on me, but I just get too hot). 1st pic is a pic of me (before I cut my hair, it's short now), 2nd and 3rd pics are some style inspo I found that I think would work well on my body type. My question is, I would like to revamp my style, but aside from the 2 pics I found idk what style would fit me best. And the key is that it has to be short clothes since I just can't do the longer stuff. Also, where are some specific stores or brands that carry shirts/pants in the right style and material, and especially size? I love bright/pastel colors, but I also want some nice neutral/earth tones as well. I would also love some shoe recommendations that come in a size 14, ideally not too trendy or crazy. I like classy looking shoes that can go with a variety of styles so I don't have to buy more than 2 or 3 pairs.
I'm located in Michigan if that helps. Thanks for any help!
