I have heard the lululemon bag zipper sucks from the reviews (I was also looking at it) the calpak looks super nice. This might be an unpopular take but honestly you don’t need a huge diaper bag. I’m a FTM and my baby is 6 weeks. I use a kavu rope sling bag and I literally have a diaper, onesie, wipes and a blanket in the bag and I feel like that’s all you need but I know some disagree. Hi everyone!

So I’m looking at diaper bags and I want some recommendations on the more expensive ones I’ve seen from Dagne Dover and lululemon I love this Dagne Dover Wade Diaper bag and the new parent backpack from lululemon does anyone have any recommendations?

Also I’m open to suggestions of other brands to look at I just want something that will last and be functional if you may have them

The Lululemon one is terrible. I use it as my work bag and still hate it. The zipper hurts my fingers and hands when I brush up against the sharp ass teeth. The front pocket only has one zipper and your stuff falls out while you’re opening it. The interior like doesn’t really have much room if you’re using the internal storage. Hate hate hate. I actually use a camera backpack ( Brevite The Jumper ) as my diaper bag which works out really well.

I have the large dagne Dover one and don’t love it but it dos the job. It’s a giant black hole and it’s hard to find things, it gets dirty easily, and it’s heavy without anything in it. I’m not sure if there’s any perfect diaper bag though 🤷‍♀️

First time mom here, due with my twins in the next 2 months. I am looking for something that's been tried and true from other twin parents. I'm currently overwhelmed with all of the options on the market - I was set on the lululemon new parent backpack, until I realized it's only approx 17L, which doesnt seem big enough! I don't have a specific budget in mind (if it's pricey but you think it's worth the money, I'll entertain it!!), but would like a backpack style, and preferably something that isn't too flashy as I want my husband to willingly carry it as well if we're both out with the twins.

What diaper bag did you buy, and did you feel you had sufficient space to carry twice as many items as a parent of a singleton?

I would also entertain comments on what diaper bag(s) to NOT buy! Thanks!

I’m a big fan of my Dagne Dover large backpack. It’s got a lot of compartments that just make sense (and some that honestly don’t), but enough room for everything I need, with some space for last minute additions.

I was gifted SO many diaper bags including a cute Eddie Bauer one from Target. Haven’t used any of them! 😂 I just throw stuff in my backpack and go!

Currently stuck between the CalPak diaper bag, Dagne Dover, and Lululemon parent bag.

Looking for baby diaper bag Recommendations, preferably ones you can also wear as a backpack if needed.

Are the ones that you can attach with stroller better?

We got the skip hop forma bag! We love it! It open soo wide and everything have its on place so it’s not everywhere.. we been using it for more than a year now still in a very good condition.

I got one off of Amazon that looks like a Herschel knockoff. It’s been great and has a million pockets for bottles, diappers etc.

My baby is 3 months old and I still don’t have a diaper bag. I’ve been looking into Dagne Dover wade tote bag but man that price tag.. Does anyone have one? Is it worth it? Or maybe you could suggest something different instead?

i have a backpack style diaper bag that has a changing table feature built in can’t recommend back pack style enough but could do without the changing table feature. we just don’t use it because the zipper is complicated to get back together and the changing table doesn’t stay upright on its own so it’s inconvenient. but seriously. get the regular back pack style

I’ve had a few dagne dover bags and I prefer the medium Dakota version but you get more with the indie, darker colors just make it hard to find stuff inside, They get dirty easily and every single one I have had gets these bubbles in the fabric that can’t be fixed. Yet I keep buying them lol you can find them used online and you can see the condition they become also on dagne website go to the eco tab and they sell used bags. A few of my friends like the new calpak diaper bag.

Looking for a diaper bag that’s functional, aesthetically pleasing, unisex, and not a fortune. I’ve heard about caraaway but don’t want to spend $400 on a diaper bag. Any other recs or is this going to be impossible to find?

Tbh I have never regretted an LL Bean boat n tote with baggu pouches. Indestructible and infinitely adaptable.

I love my Mina Baie, it’s $200 so still pricey but not caraway pricey

FTM here and I'm overwhelmed building my registry. With so many brands out there like Dagne Dover, Lululemon, Ruvalino, Beis etc... which diaper bag do you use and/or advocate for?

We used the skip hop diaper bag which was fine but you really could use a regular back pack as long as you’ve got pouches for organizing. Baggu bags are amazing too and I wish I used them from the beginning because I like them so much more 🤷🏻‍♀️

I just bought a regular book bag and called it a day.

I have the Dagne Dover backpack and it works well for us. That said, I agonized over the choice and then I don’t really think about it now - it’s just a backpack that we throw everything in, and we use a belt bag for most short outings. But it’s held up very well!

My experience - it’s a bag you find fashionable and enjoy wearing. We got one off Amazon with all the bells and whistles (tons of compartments, milk cooler pockets…) but I find it bulky and blah. I started using an existing sleeker backpack that I used for travel prior to getting pregnant (everlane renew transit backpack) and now that’s the one I always use even though it isn’t meant to be a diaper bag. All I need room for is a change pad, a few diapers, wipes, and a nursing blanket. It’s pretty easy to put that in anything.

I bought the Dagne Dover Indi diaper bag in large. 25% off still! I have a few bags from them and really like the amount of space and all of the pockets. Highly recommend!

I’m thinking about some of the cute backpacks out there, especially since I’ve had back surgery in the past. Would love to hear what other people say! There are some really cute ones on Amazon, some even unzip so you can have like an infant pack and play/change station. Anything that has multiple uses and can evolve with us as baby grows is how I’m looking at it.

Im using my college backpack and it gets the job done. I’ve also seen some in stores that are like a backpack, but have an insulated pocket for milk.

I got a Fischer price one at the thrift store for $1! I love all the compartments including the wipe dispenser :)

The one I currently have is big and bulky and I pretty much avoid carrying it as much as I can lol I’m looking for something a bit lighter. Also, I don’t even really know what I should be carrying in the diaper bag other than wipes and diapers and maybe an extra change of clothes. Any insight?

I never used one. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’d put exactly what you said: wipes and diapers inside my tote bag. Edit: my children are 5 and 3 yo.

I have a 13 month old. We bought a carhartt bookbag that we are using. We had a skip hop but it didn’t fit right. We really only use the big backpack when we’re going to be out for a while or for the zoo, etc. We have diapers, wipes & carry diaper rash cream. Change of clothes, and all the snacks & water. We also have a little pouch for when we go into a restaurant with a disposable mat, bib & scissors. I have a small bag with my own personal items. We are to the point that if it’s just running into the store I take my “Mary Poppins” crossbody hip bag and toss a few diapers, wipes, & a snack in it and call it a day. Leaving the bookbag in the car. Honestly just bought the carhartt and I don’t think we’ll be using it much in our current season of life, but we’re planning on another kiddo next summer and I know I’ll need it for a toddler & newborn.

So far I have been reading about higher end brands, like Dagne Dover, Itzy Ritzy, Freshly Picked, lululemon.. is the high price tag worth it for these? There are more reasonably priced ones like Skip Hop, Babbleroo.. but ultimately I want a diaper bag that will last and has organization components with insulated bottle pockets.

I have a laptop bag that is Dange Dover and it holds up really well you wouldn’t even know I had it for over a year. Looks brand new and I carry whatever I can pack into it… so I’m looking at the diaper bag now. My experience has been worth the investment so far.

I’m curious since it’s time to update my backpack. I still carry diapers, snacks, a change of clothes, water bottle, disposable diaper pads, and a life vac. Would love any suggestions and organizational tips! Thank you!

We went fancy with the Dagne Dover Indy (the medium size) and it has been incredible! Both my husband and I love how comfy it is to wear, it’s easy to clean mostly wipe but we have thrown in the washed when too messy. Fits all of the things! Now with almost 3 year old and still love it. It still looks new. It was worth the money for us!

I have a lululemon backpack for bigger days out. Most of the time it’s a large wetbag in my normal purse (large crossbody or tote). For quick daycare runs, I live dangerously and go with nothing but my belt bag (phone, keys, card holder). 3yo that’s potty trained and 8 month old. I gauge how much I need to schlep based on where we’re going 😅 If it’s less than 2hrs - I don’t even bring snacks. But we’re super structured and plan our outings around the toddler schedule.

Alright folks, what is your favorite diaper bag? Expecting our second and our first diaper bag is falling apart. It was a pretty cheap one from Amazon, so it worked for as long as it likely could have. I want something durable and practical. I’d like to not spend hundreds of dollars on a new bag, but I will if it’s actually worth it. So… tell me your favorite (or tell me which one not to buy lol).

Third pregnancy, my diaper bag is now a cotton reusable grocery bag 😬 How things change !

I have a lululemon new parent bag. It was about $200 if I’m not mistaken but worth it to me. It has a bunch of compartments, made of a nice high-quality nylon material, and comes with a separate crossbody bag and changing mat. I decided to purchase this bag because I have 2 other lululemon bags that I’ve used for the gym/traveling that are made of the same material and are still in excellent condition despite excessive usage after about 8 years. It also looks more like a gym bag than a diaper bag, so I figured I can use it as a gym bag in the future when I no longer need it as a diaper bag. So the $200 was worth it to me.

Hello!

I want to buy a nice looking gender neutral big diaper bag. I can’t decide between Beis Ultimate or Dagne Dover Indi Diaper bag! Also confused between Indi Medium and Large. Which one is worth the money?

Would love some suggestions?

I have the large Dagne Dover Indi backpack and I don’t love it. I had watched and read so many reviews and wanted it really bad but it didn’t take long after getting it to realize it didn’t make the best diaper bag. I got the black color and the inside is also black… which just makes it a pit of blackness lol. I can never find anything! It also only has two side pockets inside and no real compartments so everything is all mixed together. I have spent way too much time digging through it and having to take everything out to find something. I’m on my second baby now and still using it even though I curse at it almost every single day lol. I’ve been meaning to buy a new, actual diaper bag but I just haven’t had time to look into what I want. I bought it because it looked nice and it was gender neutral but it’s much better off being used as a regular backpack. If you do decide to get it, I’d highly suggest buying those bag inserts or something for it to try and organize your stuff. Also - if you’re planning to bottle feed at all (formula or breast milk) I would recommend getting a bag that has an insulated pocket to keep things cool or a built in cooler. The Dagne obviously doesn’t have that so we have to carry around a separate cooler bag for our bottles. It’s a lot of stuff to be lugging around.

I have the Beis Bag however I'm currently expecting so I could run into issues when actually using it. What I can tell you so far is the inside bottle pockets are insulated although not heavily but pretty good. The one downside I found with the bag is that the main zipper/opening is too small, it needed to be way larger I'm planning in having it extended and adding a larger zipper
