Hi all, I’m dealing with a frustrating issue on my Daikin 0.75 ton non-inverter split AC (India model).
Problem:
The indoor blower fan speed fluctuates on its own, sometimes it runs slow, then speeds up randomly, and even drops down to almost zero airflow.
The AC might run normally for 30 minutes, 1 hour, or even 3, 4 days without any problem.
But once the issue starts, it keeps happening until I turn the AC off completely for a while.
The remote/controller displays the A6 error code, even while the ac is running, or if the unit stops responding properly.
Once the A6 appears, it starts happening more frequently unless power is cut off for some time.
What’s Been Done:
A technician checked the PCB and changed a diode, thinking it was the cause.
It worked fine for a few days, but the same issue returned.
The capacitor hasn’t been replaced yet, but fan motor runs when AC starts.
Room is big, but I don’t think that’s directly causing this, as airflow is strong when it’s running.
My Questions:

What could be causing the fan speed to fluctuate this way? (Especially slowing down to a near stop, then surging)

Is this a PCB issue, motor problem, or just a weak capacitor?

Has anyone faced something similar with Daikin non-inverter units?
Any help or suggestions from HVAC pros or DIYers would be greatly appreciated!
