Good places to learn SQL from? Datacamp not great
You've described taking two of the available 32 courses. 12/22 is an exceptionally good outcome for 8 hours of training. The name intermediate might be misleading given that it is very much a fundamental course but you're still v much a beginner. I am also a beginner, even at taking Data Manipulation in SQL and two courses on PostgreSQL. Consider sticking to the end of a learning path (I.e., SQL Fundamentals, Data Analyst in SQL) in DataCamp before making a switch. Also, use the other one concurrently so you're confident it will better meet your needs. The path of least resistance when hopping around is to just stop For me, the pursuit of the perfect learning tool has been by far the biggest barrier to progress. You need to balance the benefit with the cost. Also what the course provider offer in terms of support. The vast majority of online trainers offer zero in the way of support. You pay your money and get access to the videos and after that you're on you own. In terms of which variety of SQL to learn, well they're pretty much the same so learn one and you've ore or less learnt them all. The only real difference is the working environment i.e. SSMS v SQL Developer or whatever. Most, if not, all of the major RDBMS platforms offer some sort of free downloadable version. My preference is Microsoft SQL Server, but there are loads. More on reddit.com

Install SQL Server Express (free) on your Windows PC. If you have a Mac/Linux you will need Docker. These are some great real world sample databases where you can practice queries https://github.com/microsoft/sql-server-samples/tree/master/samples/databases SQL Server Express comes with Sql Server Management Studio where you can run queries. Alternatively you can install Azure Data Studio, DBWeaver etc. to run queries. What exact issue are you having? What type of problem are you trying to solve? Give some concrete examples? So I’ve been going over datacamp and have completed the intermediate sql and the course on Joins etc but recently I tried taking a test for a product firm that required SQL and most of the questions were on joins but I just scored a 12/22. Additionally I am trying to solve the intermediate questions on hackerank related to SQL and I am failing to do so. The basic ones were pretty easy.
I am wondering what resources I should look at to relearn SQL or maybe datacamp gets better as I progress? Idk. So far it seems to gloss over a lot of concepts but there is a lack of application. Or maybe I’m not very good at this and should just stick to corporate finance :/

You might want to try the free SQL course from Udacity (I think it's called SQL for Data Analysis) which felt fairly solid to me. However do not under any circumstances get lured in by the paid courses or "nanodegrees". Most of their paid content is free under different course names or outdated.

I see there is a career track on DataCamp for SQL. It is data Data Analyst with SQL Server. It looks to focus on Microsoft SQL server and using Excel as well. This one looks to be 40 hours as it gets into Database design.
There is another that is just a SQL Fundamentals course that teaches PostgreSQLthat is part of the larger Python and R data analyst tracks. It looks to include less being around 22 hours or so.
I don’t really know enough to know the differences or benefits of either, or what differs between PostgreSQL or the T-SQL used by Microsoft.
I plan on solidifying my SQL knowledge as I have completed some tutorials on sql basics going back 6 months.
My goal is to create a data project portfolio using SQL, Tableau(which I am also taking courses for) and Excel in order to display this as a link on my resume to show what I know. My end goal would be to at-least land an entry level job as a data analyst. I have also started learning some Python.
Does anyone have recommendations of which track I should focus on? Or any other recommendations of outside courses I should take instead of DataCamp? Is it recommended? From what I have been reading companies only care what you can do with those skills? Which is why I would like to set myself apart with a portfolio.
I just want to ensure I build a solid foundational knowledge and I don’t know the best way to go about doing that. I see a lot of jobs that require SQL, but really don’t know which flavor to take up.
Any advice is very appreciated.

Go with SQL Server for now…. All the different flavors will make sense over time. Getting a very basic understanding of EF Codds work will help it all make sense. The different vendors all implement their flavor of the relational model.
