Are all Dell laptops Intel Evo vPro certified?
What does it mean for a Dell laptop to be Intel Evo vPro certified?
Are laptops with Intel Core i5 processors suitable for business use?
I've been researching laptops for days and I think I found the one who fits my needs. I'm gonna be using it for programming and studying in college. I was seeking for something reliable and durable and many people told me not to go for an Inspiron. Is this really a good option?
I'm trying to compare the differences of these two CPU's. The former one is in my early 2011 Macbook Pro 13" and is running at 2.33GHz, the latter in a 2014 Dell Venue 11 Pro (7130) tablet computer. That CPU is running at 1.6GHz. Cache is the same at 3mb.
The Macbook has a Sandy Bridge CPU, Dell is Haswell. Now sure the laptop of its time was top of the line and it has a higher power CPU. The Dell on the other hand, well it was top of the line as far as tablets go when it was released (only second to a top spec Surface Pro), not to mention if has a few years on the Apple.
Does this mean the Dell would be the better performer? They both have 8GB ram and SSD drives.
