Which model? I had an older version (7405) and the bottom half flexed A LOT. You could hold it by one corner and the laptop would be clearly bending under its own weight. Eventually the flexing must've damaged the keyboard because 2 columns of keys stopped working.... Otherwise it was a pretty good laptop that allowed for some degree of modding (interchangeable ssd, ram, wifi etc.) I think in the newer models the ram is soldered but the flexing hasn't been fully resolved (have to check in person). I recently got a new laptop because the dead keys included vowels "I" and "O" so it was infuriating to use. The keyboard is also extremely difficult to replace because instead of screws they used melted plastic... Otherwise i would've held on to it for maybe a few more years. Preface that I'm not experienced with computers
Just bought the Dell Inspiron 14 2 in 1 (model no 7445) for 430 GBP (around $550).
Specs are ryzen 5 8640HS, 8GB ram, 512 GB storage.
Did I get a good deal? From what I've seen most laptops with a touch screen around these specs are more expensive.

What's the screen spec? RAM is low but it's fine if it's user replaceable. The hinge could be an issue with the 2-in-1

Hi, I'm looking for a student laptop and I currently settled on the Dell inspiron 14 2-in-1 Ryzen 7. The only downside is the 250 nits en 45% ntsc. Is there anyone with this laptop who could review it? I couldn't find better options in my price range. (Ideally less than €1000 in The Netherlands)
