How Did Dinosaurs Die? | Answers in Genesis
Dinosaurs disappear above the K-T ... and buried. Billions of animals were buried in the global Flood, but the Flood did not kill all the dinosaurs....

r/Creation on Reddit: Makes more sense if all dinosaurs died during the flood
October 28, 2020 -

First time posting so go easy on me....I went to the Creation Museum and there was a big display called dinosaurs and dragons. You can see in the hyperlinked exhibit : https://creationmuseum.org/dinosaurs-dragons/

Lots of stuff about evidence for dinosaurs because of Chinese dragons and medieval dragons. But honestly none of the dragons look like dinosaurs in the pictures. Especially Chinese dragons look like cats or something. Plus if you think that St. George killed dragons then of course he would have been alive in more recent times. Meaning dragons are also alive in more recent times.

I don't get it. It just seemed goofy to me and easy to make people say creationism is all fantasy. Why can't we just say Noah's Flood killed all dinosaurs? That actually makes sense because of the fossils record and geology.

Seems the asteroid hitting happened at just the right time, at just the right spot, to ensure humanity’s rise. It’s times like these I sometimes doubt the idea of a non-interventionist God, even as a deist. That would be nice on the one hand, it would mean our existence was divinely ordained ... Makes more sense if all dinosaurs died during the flood
I don't think it is impossible or even improbable that some "dinosaurs" could have survived the global flood and small populations could even have survived into late antiquity. I don't see it as goofy or fantastical. It either is or it isn't. If I had never seen or heard of an elephant before, someone from Africa telling me about elephants might seem goofy. That would be my own mistake. More on reddit.com

Answer (1 of 47): Hi. A few years ago, I had the opportunity to visit the Noah’s Ark Museum in Kentucky. All though I really in joyed the visit. Several things pop out as unrealistic. There was an exhibit showing a baby dinosaur in one of the pins for the animals.

Did an Asteroid Impact Kill the Dinosaurs? | The Institute for Creation Research
May 31, 2018 - Magma that rose from the depths could have made the rocks the way we see them today.2 Why should we believe an impact killed the dinosaurs if we can’t find a crater that fills the bill? Flexible animal tissues still persist inside many fossilized dinosaur bones. The size and shape of rock layers give us a third clue that the Genesis Flood, not an asteroid impact, best explains the dinosaur fossils they contain.

Dinosaurs: Did they Live Recently and Die in Noah’s Flood? – Genesis Apologetics
Because the “expiration date” for these 14 bio-organic materials is well before 65 million years, they must be just thousands of years old. The science of protein decay fits the Bible’s timeline of dinosaurs recently buried in Noah’s Flood much better than it does evolutionary long ages.

September 12, 2022 - The eruption rate of the Deccan Traps in India suggests that the stage was set for widespread extinction even without the asteroid, says Green. The impact was the double whammy that loudly sounded the death knell for the dinosaurs, he adds. Flood basalt eruptions aren’t common in the geologic record, says Green.

In other words, 70% of the kinds of mammals that Noah brought aboard the ark have since perished, not extinction by virtue of burial in the flood, but rather via extinction after the flood. And, of course, in the case of dinosaurs, that appears to be 100% by this time, although we know the last of them died out fairly recently (as evidenced by the dragon legends referred to earlier).
