So I bought one of these for my wife: https://www.audioflood.com/?v=e75edac1b83f
And then picked up some (allegedly) IP68 bluetooth bone conduction headphones off of Amazon AU.
With the player on her goggles strap it worked perfectly, but after a couple of months of use in the water 2/3 times a week, they started to play up.
There are a dozen options around it seems, but none of them seem any more legit than the ones I bought originally...

I tried using some google-fu, but every thread that I could find on Reddit understandably focused on how Bluetooth doesn't work underwater over any (normally) useful distance. With the iPod clone it works amazingly well (so my wife tells me). So I'm hoping there are a few people here that have tried a similar setup and had longer term success.

Hi there,
I'm hoping to get some advice for bone conducting headphones. I've had a few of the Shokz, which are awesome, but the memory fills up inexplicably, and the company is *terrible* with support. I reached out to see about doing a factory reset, and they basically ghosted me after sending incorrect reset info (for another bluetooth unit).
What other brands are stellar? I've tried a few of the cheaper ones, but they all went back as they wouldn't stay put upon wall push-off.

Curious about what you mean by the memory fills up inexplicably? Are you putting things besides .mp3 files in there? It's a fairly straightforward device, you should be able to inspect the size of your files vs the available memory in the headphones.

I’ve had finis bone conduction headphones in the past (first swimp3, then Neptune - both are now outdated). They were stellar, I highly recommend. Did not give me any issues.
