Is the Dyson V10 Animal worth it?
Dyson v10 absolute or animal?
I have both the V8 and the V11, obviously the V11 is more expensive as it holds more dirt (larger bin bag) and has a longer output before charging the battery but both do the same job. I find the V8 a lot lighter and If its only for tiles/linoleum and you can get round those rooms in 20 minutes then i would go for the cheaper version.

Between the 2 I would get the new V10 however, I think it takes a few steps backward from the V8. On the V10 and above you must remove the wand every time you want to empty the bin. If you want a Dyson I'd get a V8 or a V10.
But if I can tempt you with a BIFL corded vacuum that will last 15+ years and be quieter than a cordless or bagless vacuum the Sebo Felix is on sale for £271. It's a corded upright vacuum with swivel steering. These cost $699 in the U.S.

Currently on sale for $575 and I've been looking for a new vacuum.
If you don't think it's worth it, please recommend something similar. Would prefer something that comes with a few extra attachments.
For a little more context, I have 2 dogs who shed quite a lot so I vacuum and sweep multiple times a week. Our apartment is laminate and we have a couple area rugs/door mats that get vacuumed.
Edit to add: I ended up buying the V8 absolute on the Dyson website as they had a 20% off sale (and I shopped through the aeroplan e store for aeroplan points)
