Did Elvis ever meet David Bowie?
How much did Elvis weigh when he died?
What was Elvis's ethnicity?
While it is an unpleasant thought, I feel there is a strong possibility that Elvis would have ended up broke or in some sort of financial trouble had he lived a bit longer. From what I've read, when Elvis passed he was worth an estimated $5 million (or about $24 million adjusted for inflation). And by the time his estate was passed onto his daughter Lisa Maire, it was worth only about $1 million. While that is no small amount (especially for the late 70s) Elvis was a fairly reckless spender, as he loved to spoil those around him. On top of that, he had that horrible contract with Tom Parker, which took half his money. While Elvis was set to go on tour again, it is hard to say how well that would have gone. It certainly would have brought in some revenue but what would have stopped him from spending all of that money?
What do you think?
