I've been going through a lot lately and really want a series to dive into and forget about the stresses of reality. I find that most series being recommended to me are either for children or have overly dark/emotional storylines with intense character trauma. I'm hoping to get some recommendations of something uplifting but still with substance. 🙏 😔

Just finished Modern Family with my kids. I’m looking for something else that we can enjoy together. Not a kids show ;) we also enjoyed Simpsons and Fuller House.
They’ve tried (and nixed) Roseanne and Schitt’s creek. (Which is a bummer because I love those shows).
Any suggestions for something we can enjoy together? The kids are 9 and 13. We have Disney+, Netflix and Prime (Canada) so anything on those would be great.
