Enable file transfer USB on the phone and plug it into a Windows machine and for me it's as simple as drag and drop with no software needed. You're just stuck plugged into your computer until the file transfer is done. If you have a huge library turn in the transfer and do something for a while If you have no computer then open phone with an android file explorer of your choosing and make a copy of your data on the phone and upload it to Google drive/one drive etc. Answer from fearsie on reddit.com

r/AndroidQuestions on Reddit: Full Android to PC backup
August 24, 2023 -

Hello fellow hoomans!

How do you people go about making an extensive backup of your phone to your computer? I see many tools and approaches for many different sums of money, but I need one that actually does the job and does it on the first attempt, as I will sell my phone in a few hours and there is

A: no trying again and

B: no device yet for me to recover to, to check if everything made it over.

Thanks in advance for your input!

Edit:

I have a Pixel 7 Pro, if that is of importance.

Edit 2: I am fine with app data, those are stored over cloud anyways and my device is not rooted.
