Okay so basically I’m the most fickle person alive. I’m all over the place and it’s annoying. One minute I can feel a certain way, then suddenly I feel something else and see it differently. One day I could be crying over someone and the next day I could not even find them attractive. Then I do, then I don’t, then I do, then I see them a different way, then I feel this way about them. UGHHH WHATS MY DEAL? I hate being this way. Also, just for background, I have a lot of childhood trauma so maybe it’s that. I wish I knew what was wrong with me :( I hate myself so much for this

Hey, It seems that your thinking jumps around so much because you are focused on your emotions, rather than your thinking. It sounds like are trying to understand how you think about something through the lens of how you feel about it, which probably isn't going to work. Your thoughts drive your emotions. Hello, Glad to know that you have identified your issues and are seeking help.Distressing thoughts are difficult to handle and particularly when they are frequent.If you engage in counseling sessions dnt keep this in mind that it is not going to work:this thought can demotivate you to comply with therapy and the outcome won't be desirable.
