I use this method and double length ~18ft racks like yours next to each. I had mine stacked about 4ft up from the rails and some powerful wind toppled one pile onto the second pile and I had to restack. Just wanted to warn ya you may wanna go about 3ft tall as max and put some space in btwn so if one goes it doesn’t take the other with it. Mine we good size wet oak splits so I didn’t think for a second they’d get blown over, only took a month to find out I was wrong lol. More on reddit.com

I have a few I made. It's the "tooless" kind. Very easy and works well. All you need is a few cinder blocks and some 2x4s.

I believe this is the optimal firewood storage rack design, considering cost, ease of construction, capacity, and effectively keeping the wood up off the ground. It’s also modular, allowing for additional rows to be added and all covered with a single big tarp. Materials are regular cinder blocks, 2x6es, and a couple 4x4 blocks. I cover it with a heavy duty tarp I had laying around from one of those tent garages I took down. This one is 20’ long because that’s what I had space for. I could have made it taller, but then it would be hard to reach the wood on the top. Each row holds about 1.3 cords (20x5 feet). If you know a better design, let’s hear it!

Got similar racks myself, mine are all 2x4s though and 16ft. They do a good job and have held up well.
