How difficult is it to tile bathroom floor? I have ugly roll out linoleum and need to either install 12x24 tiles or luxury vinyl to spruce up the bathrooms.
I’m not much of a DIYer but the quotes that I am getting are now around $11k (USD) plus tiles for 150 square feet of floor (but I really need that money for gold plated toilets). A quote last year was for $4k (also USD).
I'm renovating a primary bathroom and considering LVP as the new flooring. I would love to be able to tile it but obviously that's far more expensive than LVP! This isn't my forever home, so I am cognizant of future buyers and not wasting money that won't translate to home value. I currently don't have a style/feel for the room laid out yet. I would kind of mold that around whatever flooring I choose. Anyone have thoughts on tile vs. LVP?
